Appointed Vice-President before there was a constitution, a parliament, or even a second chair in the office. The President simply texted "you're VP now" and Mantas replied "ok but I'm not moving to Riga."
Known for: naming entire countries during lunch, giving unsolicited strategic advice that turns out to be right, and once standing behind a podium at NASA JPL which he considers "interplanetary diplomatic experience."
His official responsibilities include: everything the President doesn't feel like doing, keeping the national napkin safe, and pretending the budget exists.
Currently also scouting for co-founders to lock themselves in a room and bootstrap something. Whether that's the UBS or a startup, even he isn't sure yet. Both are on the table. The table has a napkin on it.

With over 15 years of leading organizations that belong to other people, I decided it was time to lead an entire geopolitical region instead.
THE ORIGIN STORY
It started during a state visit to Singapore — technically it was a study trip, but when you're about to become president, everything is a state visit. I saw what Lee Kuan Yew built from nothing and thought: "We have THREE countries. We're already ahead."
The formal founding happened over lunch in Vilnius with my Chief Strategic Advisor (see: Mantas Mazuna). Between cepelinai and coffee, the idea crystallized. He named it. I bought the domain. History will sort out who deserves more credit.
PRESIDENTIAL PHILOSOPHY
I ran marathons across four continents — not because I love running, but because I was training for the endurance required to get Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia to agree on literally anything.
My approach to nation-building is the same as my approach to product: understand the user (citizen), remove friction (borders), and ship fast (before the EU notices).
Previously I built brands, products, and teams for companies worth billions. Now I'm building a country worth even more. The budget is smaller but the mission statement is better.

• Secured the domain unitedbalticstates.org within 24 hours of conception (faster than most government procurement cycles)
• Appointed Chief Strategic Advisor before appointing a cabinet (priorities)
• Established national food policy: cepelinai (LT), speka piradzinji (LV), and kama (EE) are all recognized as equally important cultural assets
• Currently in talks with the EU about "a situation" (they haven't returned our calls yet)

Rose through the ranks to direct digital innovation and consulting for a Fortune 500 (NYSE: EPAM). Advised C-Suite leaders of Forbes Global 2000 companies on transformation. Led organizational change across Northern Europe.
Then one day, during a lunch in Vilnius, realized he'd been transforming everyone else's organization except his own life.
Notable: Was on the EPAM Transformation Force (ETF). Ironic name in hindsight, as he ended up transforming himself right out of there.
